“Happiness is a state of mind. You can be happy with what you have, or miserable with what you don’t have. You decide.”
– Dr. Lou Tedone, Age 92
@LivesWellLived
Join us for a free screening of the critically-acclaimed documentary Lives Well Lived, followed by a panel discussion with members of our community who will share their strategies for making the most of whatever life brings.
Designed to be inclusive. Sign language interpreters on site.
Lives Well Lived celebrates the incredible wit, wisdom and experiences of adults aged 75 to 100 years old. Through their intimate memories and inspiring personal histories encompassing over 3000 years of experience, forty people share their secrets and insights to living a meaningful life. These men and women open the vault on their journey into old age through family histories, personal triumph and tragedies, loves and losses – seeing the best and worst of humanity along the way. Their stories will make you laugh, perhaps cry, but mostly inspire you.
This event is part of our Conversations from Main Street series and is generously sponsored by the Angela and Scott Jaggar Foundation. We look forward to a lively discussion, after which every audience member will leave with tools to design their own life well lived.
