Dear Friend,
Music, theater, dance, literature – Landmark on Main Street celebrates the arts with increasingly diverse, world-class programming for every generation. We introduce the very young to the magic of performance, and help build audiences of the future.
We respond to your interests with Folk, Rock, Broadway and World Music concerts. The result: a unique, vibrant performing arts venue where you can connect with your favorite performers from every seat.
Every season brings an extraordinary range of artists and the thought-provoking series “Conversations from Main Street” to Landmark’s beautiful Jeanne Rimsky Theater – and every season, our costs increase. To continue to provide this programming, while keeping ticket prices affordable – and sometimes free – we, as a not-for-profit organization, depend on your continued annual support.
As Landmark approaches its Centennial Celebration, please join us with a sustaining contribution. Our goal is to raise $40,000 in the 2008 Annual Appeal to complete our fundraising for the year. With a donation of $125 or more, you will become a Friend of Landmark for our 2008-09 Season. As a Friend, you receive a discount on up to four tickets to each show next season, and you can purchase tickets beginning August 4, 2008 – a full month ahead of the general public. Highlights will include Christine Ebersole, Maude Maggart, Lucie Arnaz, Raul Midon, Peter Yarrow
in Peter, Bethany & Rufus, Chad & Jeremy, Michelle Shocked and Tom Rush. Friends also receive name recognition in our playbill, Applause!, as well as the very great satisfaction that comes from enriching your community.
We appreciate your support. Because of your generosity, our theater flourishes, and Landmark on Main Street can continue to house the Parent Resource Center, Children’s Center, Teen Center, and the Doctors’ Gym that all serve families in many invaluable ways. Thank you for helping advance our tradition of service to the Port Washington
and broader Long Island communities.
Sincerely,
